LABOUEST laboratories switched to a new IT system on May 5, 2026.
The way you access your test results has changed; you will now receive them directly via a secure email attachment.
In compliance with regulations, the attachment can be opened using a password consisting of a combination of letters and numbers.
Details regarding your password are provided in the email you received.
.
Access to your results before May 5, 2026 is still possible, especially if you had created a patient account on
InVitro Patient Portal.

You requested to receive your test results by email. To open your report, simply click on the attachment. It is protected by a password (a combination of uppercase letters and numbers), which is provided in the body of the email. The password will remain the same, particularly if you undergo further testing at LABOUEST laboratories.
The ISO 15189 standard for medical biology laboratories requires that all result reports sent via email be encrypted and protected to ensure information security; therefore, you will be asked for a password to view your results.
If you wish—for instance, to make it easier to view your report months later—you can easily remove this protection. This can also be convenient if you want to share your report with a healthcare professional.
The process is simple and requires little technical expertise. You simply need to print your result as a PDF and then save it under a new filename. Once saved and renamed, your result will open without requiring a password. The “LABOUEST: Removing protection from your results” guide details the procedure step-by-step.

If the laboratory office or the home-visit nurse offered to send your test results by email, but you have not received them in your inbox within a reasonable time after the blood draw, you should first check your email’s “spam” or “junk mail” folder. Some email applications automatically move messages from new senders to this folder. If this is the case, be sure to mark the message as legitimate by right-clicking on it and selecting an option such as “not spam” or “approve sender.”

If you cannot find it, we invite you to verify that your email address was entered correctly by contacting your laboratory via our contact form or by phone.
Does the password you enter fail to open your results report when you open the email attachment?
All the details needed to identify the correct password are included in the email. Please read it carefully and follow the instructions precisely.
The letter combination consists solely of uppercase letters; please double-check your input. If you are using a laptop without a numeric keypad, remember to activate the “Shift” key to enter the numbers.
If the report file still refuses to open despite your attempts, please contact your laboratory—preferably via our contact form, by email, or by phone.

Your results report is included directly in the email we send you. Since the report is password-protected, your email client cannot scan it. There is nothing wrong; this is simply a warning message. For example :

In the case above, click “This message seems safe.” The message will then no longer appear in the future.

To keep a record of your medical laboratory reports, we recommend using Votre Espace Santé. This secure platform allows you to store and access your medical history at any time, and your laboratory can send your results directly to it. More information here.
If you have chosen to receive your medical laboratory reports via email as a password-protected attachment, we suggest saving the file in a folder on your computer, tablet, or phone. You can then save subsequent results in the same folder. Please be sure to keep your password safe, as it will be required each time you open the file.
We do not recommend storing your test result reports in your email inbox.
