How do you get a QR code?

To get a “Health Pass” there are three options:

• Have your vaccination. After 14 days, your “Health Pass” will be issued.
• After having COVID, within the past 6 months, the term of validity of the Health Pass will then be 6 months.
• Take a RT-PCR or antigen test. In this case, the test is valid for 48 hours under the “Activities” section of the Health Pass, and 72 hours under the “Travel” section of the Health pass, an only if you have taken an RT-PCR test.

To collect a certificate following a negative or positive test taken over the previous three months, you can log on to the sidep.gouv.fr platform with your FranceConnect login information, or click on the link in the email or SMS sent.

The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test is valid as proof of recovery from Covid should date within the last 15 days and up to a maximum of 6 months in France. This period of validity may vary depending on the country of destination. Be sure to consult the rules in force in your country of destination or the Travel Advice issued by the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
